It has been a lot of hard work to prepare Roseville and Lincoln for the Annual Meeting, but Michael Otten, CCHS first VP, RVP Region 8; Maryellen Burns, RVP Region 7; Christina Richter, President of the Roseville Historical Society; and I CCHS RVP Group Leader B, RVP Regions 38 & 16 did it. We are ready with a great program. We hope you enjoy it!

Thanks Therese for the comment. This is exactly the reason I joined CCHS 4 years ago, for the networking, the tours, the workshops, and for the future of CCHS. It is hard to believe it has been 4 years, since I when to my first annual meeting. And, if only by a coincidence that annual meeting was also in Sacramento, only 40 minutes from my house. I still got a room for 2 nights, telling my wife I wanted to be around the other attendees to meet them and learn about what the others were doing across California in their history programs. It was the best decision I could have made. I learned so much.

I have been looking forward to this event since attending the Spring Development Workshop. The last meeting was very informative, so I’m anticipating this year’s meeting will be just as fabulous. Thank you for presenting us with invaluable information that we can use to strengthen our regional historical societies. I’m also looking forward to making new contacts and attending the tours. Great job!
