The tours! They are always educational, and an excellent opportunity to get new ideas on what we can do in our area. Attending these events keeps us fresh. Thank you.

My preference is for an organizational development track. By learning methodologies used by other successful societies, we can find the keys on how to improve our local organizations. Well run organizations will generally have a larger and more engaged membership base.

Awards Luncheon only Michael Otten urged my mother and I to attend so CCHS members could meet her in person. We were unable to attend last year because of our health and the distance involved. My mother, Betty Samson, wanted to thank everyone for her honor. We tried to register for the awards luncheon online but were unable to and asked Michael if he could do it for us. I would also like to see Rodi Lee honored. Thank you.

Awards Luncheon only. Because of my age and health I couldn’t attend last year’s award dinner in Southern California and was advised by Michael Otten I could attend this year’s luncheon as a guest because it is close to home. The registration process was too complicated for me, so Michael is doing it for me and my daughter, Karri. Thank you.

We have made sure that all the tracks will be entertaining and informative and encourage you to take in as much as you can. There will be a cornucopia of ideas that you can put to use in your museums and historical organizations.

Please participate. You will be glad you did. Come with questions and go home with answers and a bag full or two of information and books from two All America Cities that blossomed from the early Gold Rush and start of the Central Pacific Railroad and the novel inventions that continues to inspire the Golden State.
